Citroen

Citroen is one of the most famous car manufacturers, part of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group since 1976. The company was established by André Citroën in 1919.  The first Type A car was introduced in the summer of 1919, and in 1922 Citroën created another Autochenille B2 model. This vehicle was the first to cross the Sahara. In 1935 the Michelin brand was controlled by Citroën. In 1976 Citroën joined the Peugeot brand to form PSA.

Citroen has highly individualistic and distinctive, approach to engineering and styling. This is demonstrated by the prestigious European Prize for the innovative hybrid petrol system, which will allow vehicles to approach 2 liters per 100 kilometers in the near future.
